Mr. Conrad joined CarXPC in 2005 and is responsible for all aspects of company’s global supply chain including global sourcing, logistics and final assembly operations. Prior to CarXPC, Mr. Conrad was Purchasing Manager for JMAR Nanolithography, Inc., a semiconductor foundry and equipment maker which developed nanotechnology devices for use in Homeland Security and Department of Defense advanced technology applications. Mr. Conrad supervised the company’s purchasing, warehouse and cleanroom materials operations. Mr. Conrad has also held senior procurement positions with Tektronix, Inc., and Lightware, Inc., where he was responsible for supplier management and strategic supplier development for both manufacturing operations and new product introduction programs. Mr. Conrad created one of the first Global Sourcing Distribution Systems to support North American Product Design and Asian Contract Manufacturing while at Lightware. His model was subsequently adopted by VEBA/Atlas Services, Inc. (now Memec), and later used by Intel, Inc., and Tektronix, Inc., to manufacture products offshore. Mr. Conrad brings over 10 years of global supply chain management and product development experience to CarXPC with global sourcing expertise in the Optical, Semiconductor and Nanotechnology industries. Mr. Conrad holds a BS in Economics with a concentration in International Finance from Babson College, Wellesley, MA.
