Mr. Diamond joined CarXPC in 2005 to develop and deploy the company’s sales, marketing and field installation channels. Prior to CarXPC, Mr. Diamond was president and co-founder of Webstores of America, Inc., a specialty Internet solution provider servicing over 100 clients in the consumer electronics market. Prior to Webstores of America, Mr. Diamond was vice president and general manager of Getplugged.com – an online marketing venue for specialty consumer electronics companies where he was responsible for:
He was also responsible for a $3M consolidated marketing budget, authored the revenue share plan and served as the principal business analyst while managing the specification, development, and deployment of www.getplugged.com. At McIntosh Laboratory, Inc. Mr. Diamond served as the sales manager / corporate sales administrator where he managed an 80-person independent rep sales force comprised of 18 companies, developed overseas distribution channels, created the merchandising plan, and managed sales and marketing goals by country, territory and product category. Mr. Diamond earned the distinction of “Sales Manager of the Year – 1998” at the January 1999 Consumer Electronics show for outstanding performance by McIntosh’s parent company, the Clarion Corporation of America.
